Landing Page Conversion Optimization

In early 2018 HyperGrowthCEO started working with a company that sells software to small and midsize retail stores. The software company was getting some traffic to their site but struggling to convert this traffic to customers.

Project Summary

After two calls to review their current situation, HyperGrowthCEO did a full evaluation of their sales and marketing funnel. During this evaluation, it was discovered that there were a number of web pages in which the majority of visitors were exiting the site. Some changes were made to these pages to make them more user-friendly. Issues with messaging during the sales process were also identified and addressed. These changes resulted in an almost immediate increase in sales.

The Strategy

The key was a multipronged approach to lead generation. To increase web traffic to the site without increasing ad costs, the HyperGrowth team narrowed the targeting criteria to the ideal client through keyword, URLs and a deep buyer’s journey discovery and increased the volume of ad exposure to those businesses and individuals. Next, we developed landing pages designed and built for optimal conversion with a clear CTA (call to action). Finally, the HyperGrowth team worked with the local sales team to improve potential client follow-up procedures to increase closure rate by working prospects through the pipeline. The ongoing support was maintaining the percentages, while increase overall volume through SEO, content marketing, targeting new potential client groups and geographies.
